Specs
Mazda RX-7 series 3 1985 (last ever sold in Sydney)
1 owner, (I brought it from Dad almost 4 years ago)
Full cut back and respray, body totally straight, never been in an accident. interior is
as new, straight off showroom floor.
Engine
12A Turbo hi flowed 12mm either side built by Garrett TO4 wheel one side VL turbo on
the other.
two addition 500cc injectors-staged (as seen in photos)
Stage 1 apex blow off valve (always get comments on how awesome it sounds)
3" mandrel bent straight through
fully engineered (certificate and all)
Bolt off/on cat and rear muffler for track
Custom surgical grade stainless surge tank
VL turbo fuel pump with addition pre-pump with larger fuel line direct
to staged injectors
Stainless lightened flywheel
Custom made brass button clutch to hold grunt
Close to 12 hours on Dyno. At last test about 10 months ago it was
putting out 185 at rear wheels but I've had the turbo done since then
24 pound boost (crazy I know!)
Blitz turbo timer and boost guage custom mounted in dash
Autometer boost guage
Turbosmart adjustable boost
Sound:
4 channel 75w RMS per channel amp running two rear Jaycar
response 6 1/2" splits up front 2 5" Jaycar response splits CD Audioline
head unit bought to mach interior.
Security:
Kill switches hooked up to turbo timer, needs a magnet to
start the car, no magnet, no go, as well as an addition manual switch.
Fuel controlled by EMS computer and handset
Custom made front mount intercooler from performance metalcraft with 2 1/2 mandrel
bent pipes to and from the turbo and inlet manifold
12A turbo gearbox
3:9:1 LSD made made Craft diffs
Bigger talshaft modified with replacable unis
o2 rush air filter
Car retains all factory options like cruise control, power windows,
power mirrors, sun roof, air conditioning, all the mod cons.
First night at the creek I got a 13.9 in third gear.......it would pop
into fourth so I had to rev the tits off it to get that...can't wait
till I get that fourth fixed
From memory at Oran park, before I had the new turbo I got a 58, but I can't be
certain.
Anyway I hope I've included enough info for you. Unfortunately I don't have any interior
photos but you have to take my word for it that it is showroom quality.
