It's a Daihatsu Compagno 1000 Berlina and is the only one of it's kind that I  know of. The pictures on the left were taken in Aug 1995 at the start of some extensive modifications to the body, It had a little 4 cyl 1000cc engine in, when I bought it for a R1000 , but that quickly made way for a 13B rotary engine, and ever since, this little monster was rotary driven. At the moment it's about 95% complete, which include  fully powder coated frame and suspension.  ventilated disks all round and completely redesigned interior.
