Here is the build-up of my 1983 HB Cosmo.
This project took several years and is still not finished.

UPDATE - 20 March 2002
BAD20B goes in for some serious work.
I have decided to take the HB to the next step.
The engine is being pulled down and rebuilt. This time with a
port job and dowelling. The turbo is being replaced by a custom
T88 roller-bearing version.
A new intercooler and MOTEC ECU is also being installed.
Check the updates as they happen.
The pics above show the new engine mounts and a general clean up
of the engine bay area.
UPDATE - April 2002
The engine comes back out and holes are filled. The loom is
moved from its original position.
UPDATE - June 2002
The new fuel system
arrives and is prepared for installation.
UPDATE - July 2002
The car is stripped
down for a complete re-spray.
UPDATE - August 2002
The roller-bearing T88
Turbo arrives from USA.
This is one HUGE turbo.
UPDATE - October 2002
The HB Cosmo makes it
back from the painter. Work starts on
putting it all back together.
Work
also starts on getting the engine ready.
The engine bay is
starting to come together.
