Check out the company car

In January 1999 I traded my 1997 Berlina V8 for a new
HSV Clubsport 195i.

Impressed to say the least,    I was surprised at the level of
refinement of this Holden.    My last car wasn't anything special,
especially compared to my HB and JC Cosmo's.

This car is fun to drive and I have already made plans
to add 18" Wheels,  drop it 2 inches and add a super-charger.

Check out the Video I made of the car below.

UPDATE

March 2000 -  I have just traded in my 195Kw HSV Clubsport for a new series II
HSV Clubsport R8 with the Gen III LS1 250Kw engine and T56 6 Speed Manual.

This is AWESOME,  with full leather interior, huge premium brakes with 4 pot
calipers all round and 18" Wheels standard.

here are some pics

Cruising at 130km/h in 6th gear pulling only 2000rpm Drop it down to 5th gear and give it a little squirt...! fun..

New Suspension all round

October 2001 -  The clubsport gets totally new custom suspension.

The boys at Heasmans Steering have replaced the factory HSV
shocks and springs with custom Bilsteins and Eibachs.

It was a big job as there was nothing available on the
market.   Handling is now vastly improved.

Check it out below...!

HSV R8 gets blown...!

March 2002 -  The clubsport gets a blow job...!

Check out the pics of the Vortech Supercharger kit being fitted to the HSV.
Expected HP is over 400KW.

The kit includes front mount intercooler,  vortech supercharger,
HPC coated extractors.   Full Stainless exhaust system,
water injection,  aftermarket ECU.

More pics as the kit is installed...!

These pics, one week later.

April 2002 -  The supercharger is finished.

The supercharger kit is complete and looks like a factory item.
Final dyno figures were 279.7KW at the wheels on a 40 degree day.
This equates to 375HP at the wheels which is approx 400KW or
500HP at the flywheel.

Click below for video of the HSV on the dyno.

New 19" wheels arrive..!

April 2002 -  The new wheels arrive for the clubsport.
They are 19x8 with 245-35ZR19 tyres all round.

Audio System now complete

May 2002 -  The new alpine audio system has now been
installed.     Check out the pics below.

Need MORE Power..!

July - Nov 2002 -  The clubsport goes in for more engine work.   This time
I have decided to get rid of the factory computer and install a MOTEC
M800 ECU.    This is MOTEC's latest creation.

I have also decided to get rid of the steel piping and replace it with
polished allow custom piping and better BOV.   The blower was also polished.

We have also replaced the standard blower pulley with a high boost one.

Today we dynoed the car with the new MOTEC,  but the injectors have
run out of fuel flow,  so we are sticking 600cc injectors in tomorrow.

Stay tuned for more updates.

Nov 15th 2002 -  OK we have replaced the injectors with Bosch 600cc units.
And we are ready for the dyno again.    This time we have 2 problems.

Wheel spin in 4th gear at 200km/h and the fuel pump..!
We are now going to replace the whole fuel system.

Oh BTW we are reaching around 380bhp at the wheels.
Hoping for 430 - 450bhp at the wheels.

Stay tuned for more updates.
